This would be a huge loss. The guy lost multiple starters and still kept sending out productive units. Can't afford to lose good coaches and keep guys like Wade Wilson and Garrett around.

The perfect storm would be losing Linehan and Rod.

Crutches kicked right out from under Garrett.

If you mean it's time to focus on the 2015 NBA Champion Dallas Mavs and 2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Champion UVA Cavaliers, then yes you are correct.

Let's try this again. Lovie Smith has had no conversations with Rod Marinelli about coming to Tampa Bay.

Is this something that you have heard or read somewhere?

I should have said the immediate promotion of Eberflus would reek of complacency and laziness. If Marinelli leaves why not see what is out there? This defense with Marinelli needs a lot of improvement. Promoting the unproven assistant doesn't give me a lot of confidence that the team will upgrade the defense.

Jason Garrett will be named Coach of the Year, Time Magazine's man of the Year, People's Sexiest Man Alive, and win the Presidency before those two things end up happening.

Wasn't he already named COY by Jerrah? We are a quarter of the way home!

I would think they'd ask for Marinelli and maybe Monte Kiffin's input on who they should consider as next DC. It might depend on whether they intend to keep the same Tampa-2 type scheme or not.

Obviously Marinelli and Kiffin have been working with Eberflus for two years now, they have a pretty good idea of whether he might be ready or capable.

Wether ebflooson is ready or not, I'm sure kiffin will just groan/slobber/fart, and Marinelli will just say nice things.

Probably going to lose Callahan, read he might be in play again for Cleveland OC gig. Although I don't know why anyone would want to leave to go to Cleveland now. I guess I could see it if you needed a job, but that's the most fucked up place in the league right now.

Callahan pretty much got the shaft last year. Not surprised he wants out of this circus where he can run his own show.

Callahan is not going to be a big loss. Pollack sp? has the line headed in the right direction before Callahan was demoted from play calling. I hope they get a DC that gets away from the Tamps 2, so good bye Rod.

Yeah the players have been extremely complimentary of the work Pollack has done
