Predict our remaining schedule:

Minnesota @ Dallas
Dallas @ New Orleans
Bye
Dallas @ New York Giants
Oakland @ Dallas
Dallas @ Chicago
Green Bay @ Dallas
Dallas @ Washington
Philadelphia @ Dallas

I see us getting wins agaist:

Minny
Oakland
Washington
Philly

Putting us at 8-8 for the year.

Basically, anyone with a QB worth a shit is going to beat us.

Is 8-8 good enough to win the division? We'd be 5-1 in the division based on my scenario, which would likely be a tie-breaker.

Minnesota @ Dallas WIN
Dallas @ New Orleans BIG LOSS
Bye
Dallas @ New York Giants LOSS
Oakland @ Dallas WIN
Dallas @ Chicago LOSS
Green Bay @ Dallas HUGE LOSS
Dallas @ Washington LOSS
Philadelphia @ Dallas WIN

That's 5 more losses so that puts us at 7-9. The Giants game can go either way. If we don't lose, we're looking at 8-8 again and an early dismissal from the playoffs. I'm really hoping for 7-9.

Against the Redskins, it's the end of the year, it's gonna be cold. I can't see these guys having enough pride to try to win it.

It's really fucking sad that in the league of parity where teams rise and fall with such frequency that almost every team will have had both at least 1 good season and 1 bad season over the course of 5 or so years that Dallas has basically remained an average fucking team.

The league is geared towards having teams come from nowhere and they do all the time with some of the worst QBs.

Looking at it with Silver and Blue glasses on I'd say

Win
Loss
Bye
Win
Win
Loss
Loss
Win
Win

9 and 7

If we play how we are suppposed to play, that's all we got, but looking at that we could very well loss 4 to finish the season and watch the Giants go to the playoffs. At this point, we can go 7 and 9 or 9 and 7 and I wouldn't be surprised.

Should we find a way to beat Chicago or Green Bay or Even the Saints it would be a shear gift from the Gods.

4 fucking turn overs and 10 points from them. Steller fucking Offense we have... Mother of fucking God we stink.

I was curious.

As it currently stands, 18 teams have won at least 9 games in either the 2011 or 2012 season. KC will join the list above by the end of the year to make it 19.

Here's a list of teams that have not and don't appear likely to do so.

Oakland Raiders
Arizona Cardinals
Jacksonville Jaguars
Miami Dolphins
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns
Philadelphia Eagles
St. Louis Rams

There are 4 teams who have not and may.

San Diego Chargers
Carolina Panthers
New York Jets
Dallas Cowboys

If the other three did get to 9 wins and Dallas does not, that would Dallas as 1 of 10 teams who have failed to break the .500 mark in Garrett's tenure. If 1 does and Dallas does not, that would make it 1 of 12.

The league is rigged so that any decently run team will eventually have a good season.

If you go back 1 additional season, Dallas is currently just 1 of 9 teams who have not had a winning season over the past 3 full seasons and into this year.

If Carolina does break that .500 mark, Dallas will be in the disgusting 1/4th of the league who has failed to break .500 since 2010.

The other teams would be:

Arizona Cardinals
Jacksonville Jaguars
Oakland Raiders
Miami Dolphins
St. Louis Rams
Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns

Dallas' offense isn't moving the ball nearly as well this year as they have in years past. That has largely been countered by a dramatic increase in redzone efficiency and an equal decrease in turnovers.

In years past the team would have all this wonderful yardage and nothing to show for it in terms of points. Now they have the opposite but the big problem is you can't really count on your defense to score for you or set you up beautifully all the time.

If the defense collapses, this team could tank out and only come away with 6 wins because the offense isn't doing nearly enough.
