Pour our minimal resources into one line-which one?

Lets say we decided to use a big FA signing and our 1st round pick on the same line-either offensive or defensive, which would improve this team more..assuming you are leaving the other line relatively the same.

Ie - Sign Spencer and draft Floyd or Richardson

Or

Sign Melton and draft Mingo or Jordan etc

Offensively speaking

Sign Levitre and draft Warmack or cooper

You can play with the names as you wish...I'm trying to decide what this team will benefit more from...a significant upgrade on the offensive or defensive line.

Ideally, we'd love to fix both..but that's not realistic. What's do you guys think?

I was originally leaning OL----im starting to lean DL...Giants have proven a stout DL can carry you through the postseason

Only rule is you get only one high priced FA. You can keep Spencer or let him go..you can't keep Spencer and add another FA

I'd go offensive line. Romo could be deadly with one. I think he could carry this team if he had confidence in the Oline.

Also, I think as a whole, we have more talent on the Dline than the Oline.

So, if we went this way, I'd sign Anthony Smith (OT) from Cincinatti to be our road grader RT.

And I'd draft Warmack or Cooper in rd 1.

I was thinking about this earlier.

This team won't win anything until the offensive line is decent.

Gotta go offensive line.

Oline, hands down. We can get by with what we have on the Dline. We can not with the Oline.

Oline is a no brainer to me. I'm usually all about defense and think we desperately need a pocket penetrating dt but Romo needs help... Improved line fixes the run game which in turn helps the d.

Dline. Romo makes the offense good enough no matter what. All we need is more effective pass defense, dl will help that.

im leaning sheldon richardson at 18...yall think he will be available?

Maybe, I do think he'd be a nice add.

Ratliff is kinda the x factor to me. If they think he's buying into the change and can get/stay healthy, DT isnt such a critical need this year.

Going OL or DL in round one wouldnt surprise me, nor would a trade down.

I think we should think dt, regardless of Ratliff. Although I think the other dt spot opposite of him is more important.

If we lose spencer. I'd much rather kick hatch outside and draft a tackle than start Crawford.

Get me 4 pass rushers on the DL

Spencer Hatch Rat Ware

Or

Hatch Richardson Rat Ware

more offensive linemen than any other position in the game...that never stopped us from not acquiring any

OL ... seems obvious to me.

But Jerry is drawn to the BWPA (Best Wow Player Available), so the #1 could be Eddie Lacy.
