Weird list though. Is Kirk Cousins really that good, let alone the 2nd best free agent?

I mean, we should've started the year 0-2 but he couldn't hit Jackson deep on at least two easy touchdowns, then threw a moronic int when they should've gone up double digits late in the 4th. He's prone to terrible decisions and is inconsistent.

Holy shit I didn't even see JJ Wilbust on the list. What a shitty year for free agents.

JFC if we resign more than one of our free agent secondary guys, I'll be grossly disappointed, like I normally am with what this team has become.

Rapaport is saying that Jerry is going after AP?!?

I just don't get the thinking. The running game is not broken, the passing game is. Frankly the passing game is only broken because it gets used instead of the crucial times that the running game should.

So we would get AP to sit on the sidelines or go out for passes on 5 wide bc he was in Norvs system and knows the routes.
Is that the reasoning?

DE/LB Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals -- $16.9 million projected cap figure

DT Kawann Short, Carolina Panthers — $13.5 million projected cap figure

RB Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers — $12.4 million projected cap figure

DE Jason Pierre-Paul, New York Giants (per report) — Non-exclusive

LB Melvin Ingram, Los Angeles Chargers — $14.75 million projected cap figure

*S Eric Berry won’t receive franchise tag as he signs 6-year, $78 million deal with Chiefs

QB Kirk Cousins, Washington — $24 million projected cap figure

Teams have until March 1 at 1:00pm Pacific (4pm ET) to place the franchise or transition tag on their own players.

Others who could receive a franchise tag include Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson (again), Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, and Chiefs defensive tackle Dontari Poe.

Doubtful that AP would be going out for any passes considering that's never been his forte. He would just be taking carries away from Zeke.
