Tackles: Joe Staley, SF (+7.3) and Doug Free, DAL (+4.8)

Perfect in pass protection and some fantastic work as a run blocker saw Joe Staley stand tall above all other offensive tackles in Week 5. Opposite him Free wasn’t quite perfect, allowing two hurries, but he too was very good as a run blocker, edging out fellow NFC East tackle Justin Pugh for the starting role here.

Honorable Mentions: Joe Thomas, CLE and Justin Pugh, NYG

Guards: Ronald Leary, DAL (+5.8) and David DeCastro, PIT (+4.2)

Another impressive run blocker for Dallas yesterday was Leary at left guard and, like Staley at left tackle in our Team of the Week, he too was perfect in pass protection. For the Steelers DeCastro may not have been quite at as high a level as Leary, but he too was good in the running game, opening holes for Le’Veon Bell throughout the game.

Noooo. Get younger, get cheaper. Doug Free leaves and you can use that cap space for his replacement and one starter on defense.

Well using 1st rounds on the OL makes it more likely & pretty confident we could get another.

Of course I would rather build on our DL next 1st round.

There's going to be alot of good OL free agents this coming offseason. Might have to replace Free with one of those. You could also build more depth with later round drafts for O-linemen.

It would be toweringly irresponsible not to get something good for this defense next draft.

Most teams can. We don't have a great track record for later round OL. Although I would still try.

I can definitely see later rounders not making immediate impact as starters, but that's not what this is about.

We will have too much money going to Demarco and Dez. Free will be gone, Martin will move to RT, plug in Bernadeau, free agent G, or mid-late round pick on the right side.
