signing McFadden doesn't mean RB isn't a possibility. same thing with Hardy and the d-line. and is CB really a bad move with Carr one foot out the door and Claiborne a never was?

DT still very much a possibility.

Right now it is Tyrone Crawford and an army of JAG's..Josh Brent, Terrell McClain, Amobi Okoye, Chris Whaley.

It is in the first. We can find someone serviceable later in the draft. The pass rush is way more important.

It all but guarantees were taking a cornerback at 27.

I don't like the idea of taking a CB in the 1st... but I'd rather draft a CB at 27 than at 6.

Wouldn't be necessary if we didn't screw the pooch on both Carr and Claiborne. Claiborne could possibly be salvaged if moved to FS.

If we sign Hardy... DT would make more sense. Then an RB and CB.

There's some solid CB talent in the late 1st/early 2nd area. It's not the worst thing in the world.

I'm hoping for something in the front 7 but BPA at that 27 spot isn't a bad idea even if it's corner. Only positions I don't want there is WR, QB, or TE. Definitely trade down in that scenario.

The biggest reason that Dallas had a good season is the running game. Sure, a solid RB will get yards behind this line, but that is not good enough IMO. If they continue to be a running team, why settle for a good RB when a great RB will insure a dominant running game? There is a definite need for CB , no doubt, but Gurley is too good to pass up on if he is still there at 27 IMO. If Gurley is gone, go with the best player available and get a RB in the second round. I sure don't want to see them a gamble with the current RBs on the roster.

We need to think like Marinelli does. Whoever we take (if it's defense) is going to be heavily influenced by him and how valuable that position is to his scheme. As evidence by passing on Floyd from a few years back and how he supposedly loved Shazier last year.

So in the Tampa 2 how important is the 1 tech? Or how about a corner? Where do we stand a LBer?

If he feels we have our 3 tech and our 2 DEs (assuming Hardy signs), what's next?

Looking at the team as it stands now, IMO Based on all of that... Kinda looks like LBer doesn't it?

In the Tampa 2 the 1-tech is probably the most important of all of the front 7.

You think so?

I think the 3T and the WILL are the two most important positions in the Tampa 2. I also think you have to have fast safeties as well but I know that you said front 7.

Sorry, I meant the 3-tech.

Wtf you guys talking about. I said it was going to be a corner.

End of discussion.

I'd wager my entire vcash account on it being a secondary position in round 1.
