ok, he's half Cheech and Chong, but i doubt HOF voters will see that as a +1
Never underestimate the PC cancer - it's already starting to metastasize deeply into the NFL.

He wasn't as nimble making those little duck and roll moves that Romo does, but in terms of rolling out and throwing on the run, Aikman was good at that on those bootleg throws. Aikman also had more speed if he actually decided to pull a ball down and run with it.

was talking about when he was closer to Romo's current age. actually, he was retired by then.

yep...his back/knee/concussion issues ruined him way too early

but he was awesome in his prime

Said it before, but I'm not sure Tony even would have survived that beating Jerome Brown and Reggie Whie and Co. put on Troy. That was brutal. You don't even see hits like that anymore.

that entire 89 season was tough to watch...Aikman may have been lucky he missed those 4 or 5 starts just to save the wear and tear

he got absolutely brutalized that yr behind that dreadful OL

Romo said he has been playing with a rib injury. Didn't take a painkiller shot against the Eagles.

If Romo doesn't make the HOF, I'll be surprised. It's about individual performance and he's through the roof when it comes to what he's done as a passer.

It hurts that he had a late start, but so did Kurt Warner(he absolutely should get in), one thing that will help his cause is I've noticed he's started to win over the media this year. I've never seen him get the kind of love he's gotten this year.

You can put his numbers(year by year)up against pretty much anyone not named Peyton Manning.

The whole gamer/playing through painful injuries may be the thing that ultimately puts him in the HOF. It used to be he needed to win a Super Bowl. He doesn't need that anymore.

again, would need to know what he was saying...and we don't know

maybe it will come out in next few days...but I truly think he was pissed over the way they shit the bed in the 4th qtr with a nice lead

he wasn't complaining one iota when those other guys were scoring tds and was the first guy celebrating with them

I think Dez felt like we stepped off their throat a little playing for the field goal. He seems to have been confirmed after witnessing that Bears' scoring barrage at the end there.

No idea why he would be yelling at Dooley with the game in hand though. That can't be a good thing.

Dooley was probably trying to get him to calm down, and Bryant probably didn't like the message

Dez is sick of mediocrity, cant blame him. We all are.

no, he's sick of the ball going to Murray and Beasley instead of #88 during a contract year

Dez clearly got upset after the Cowboys got conservative and ran the ball on 3rd and long. Then did it again on the next drive. They got him involved early in the game and he did get a few catches. So i dont see why he would be upset about his involvement. Dooley probably said something that pissed him off.

Id take Dez Bryant and Orlando Scandrick on my team anyday. Anger, passion, throwing a fit, whatever you want to call it...i want that on my team vs players that sit there lifeless and emotionless.

it was 3rd and goal from the 22. he expected us to pass and risk an INT when we were already in FG range?

He probably wanted to keep attacking. I thought it was the right time to be conservative.

I am sure his contract is on his mind too. You are talking about Millions of dollars on the line. Maybe thats why Murray wont come off the field either. He wants that 2000 yards on his resume.

I like Danny White but as for me it goes....

1) Troy Aikman
2T)Roger Staubach
2T) Tony Romo
4) Danny White

Staubach was absolutely uncanny in the clutch. Michael Jordan like. And a remarkable leader.

Aikman threw a better ball and was a great QB, but lacked Staubach's intangibles.

Romo is a very good QB. Lately it seems that his mental game has improved significantly. Unfortunately this maturation is happening at the same time that his body is breaking down.
