They were 9-7... then won the Super Bowl.

Last time they won the SB in '07 with a 10-6 reg season record the following year in '08 they went 12-4 with the #1 seed.

This is a Tom Coughlin coached football team. They'll be better than 8-8. They get back Terrell Thomas from injury in the secondary and Prince in his second season to improve their weakness on D. They added Keith Rivers at LBer. And 1st round pick David Wilson is a major upgrade from the predictable Jacobs to the running game along with Martellus Bennett who is a very good run blocking TE.
