Hope I am wrong and would love to have several wins, but after what I saw Sunday I just don't see it.

Am going with 1-5, which I believe will end Garrett's employment here.

What say you Universors?

Realistically they might beat Chicago, only because it is a home game, but there will probably be more Bear fans than Cowboy fans in the stadium. I see no chance, NONE, they beat GB or Cincy. Extremely unlikely they beat SF on the road.

sheesh, looking at that schedule, does anyone think they'll beat Green Bay, Cinci, Pittsburgh or Baltimore?

Only "gimme" I see is Cleveland and the rest seem like they could be considered a toss up.

I think we're looking at 6-10

On the surface that sounds great but I know the next hire will be just a big a let down, with our astute GM probably picking his assistants and neutering him at the hire press conference.

Bengals and Packers will beat us.

I say we win one out of Redskins, Bears, and 49ers just because the world hates me and I'll have to read through a bunch of dbair and Zone posts saying everything is okay for a week. In all honesty, we could lose all of those games. Cutler is a deep ball passer, which is our biggest weakness. The Redskins are always up for us. The 49ers run the Oregon offense and the more plays that offense is on the field, the more chances they have to make our horrid defense look stupid.

Ideal situation is that history repeats itself and the Green Bay Packers expose us so badly that Jerry has no choice but to fire Garrett. Linehan will be named interim with no real shot of keeping the job.

who do you think would be the interim coach in your scenario?

Would assume Linehan or Marinelli since both have prior HC experience.

If it does flop like I think and Garrett is shitcanned (finally) then I predict it will be fully blown up after the season. New HC, new assistant coaches, Romo and Witten retire and we move on.

I don't see any way Garrett gets canned. Just wishful thinking on your part guys, not going to happen. They will be 3-3 going into the bye.
