If you've been able to keep up with our 8 members, (which isn't always easy - I still get glorydaysrback and uvawahoos mixed up all the time) you may have noticed that Bob Sacamano, who I consider a dear friend, has a penchant for lamenting the Cowboys for passing on JJ Watt and selecting Tyron Smith instead.
Here are a few examples:
"Sigh"
"Will Tyron ever be worth passing on JJ Watt? Most certainly not, but hopefully he'll be above average at some point in his career. "
If taking Tyron Smith over JJ Watt wasn't bad enough
Uggh, 3 guys we had a chance to add but passed on, JJ Watt, of course
What makes this funny is, this has only really started this year - when JJ Watt has exploded on the scene.
It gives the impression he was against taking Tyron and passing on JJ Watt the whole time. Meanwhile, continually breaking CMD's balls as CMD was advocating us drafting Tyron for about a year PRIOR to that draft.
Well... turns out Bob Sacamano didn't always hate the idea of drafting Tyron. And using the search feature, I've yet to find any evidence where Sacamano accurately predicted that JJ Watt would be what he is, or that we'd rue drafting him. In fact, in most of his pre-2011 draft posts, he seems to be just as high on Cameron Jordan as he is JJ Watt. Hmmm..
Oh nothing, just a mock 2 weeks prior to the draft where Sacamano has Dallas taking Tyron Smith
Free and Tyron Smith as the bookends at OT gives us probably the most athletic tandem in the league. - Bob Sacamano
Grade the 2011 draft
The 1st 3 picks were epic, especially DeMarco Murray. - Bob Sacamano
Who are your top three?
who you would like to see Dallas draft with #9? Mine goes: 1. Von Miller 2. Prince Amukamara 3. Cameron Jordan - Bob Sacamano
Here are the four mock drafts by Bob Sacamano prior to the 2011 draft. JJ Watt wasn't selected in any of them.
Two Prince Amukamera. Tyron Smith once. Cameron Jordan once.

So Bob... yeah, we get it. JJ Watt is having a great year. Tyron Smith is struggling this year.
But can you give it a rest with acting like you knew this or otherwise predicted this all along, when it's clear to all that you were just as high on Tyron as everyone else?
