If you've been able to keep up with our 8 members, (which isn't always easy - I still get glorydaysrback and uvawahoos mixed up all the time) you may have noticed that Bob Sacamano, who I consider a dear friend, has a penchant for lamenting the Cowboys for passing on JJ Watt and selecting Tyron Smith instead.

Here are a few examples:

"Sigh"

"Will Tyron ever be worth passing on JJ Watt? Most certainly not, but hopefully he'll be above average at some point in his career. "

If taking Tyron Smith over JJ Watt wasn't bad enough

Uggh, 3 guys we had a chance to add but passed on, JJ Watt, of course

What makes this funny is, this has only really started this year - when JJ Watt has exploded on the scene.

It gives the impression he was against taking Tyron and passing on JJ Watt the whole time. Meanwhile, continually breaking CMD's balls as CMD was advocating us drafting Tyron for about a year PRIOR to that draft.

Well... turns out Bob Sacamano didn't always hate the idea of drafting Tyron. And using the search feature, I've yet to find any evidence where Sacamano accurately predicted that JJ Watt would be what he is, or that we'd rue drafting him. In fact, in most of his pre-2011 draft posts, he seems to be just as high on Cameron Jordan as he is JJ Watt. Hmmm..

Oh nothing, just a mock 2 weeks prior to the draft where Sacamano has Dallas taking Tyron Smith

Free and Tyron Smith as the bookends at OT gives us probably the most athletic tandem in the league. - Bob Sacamano

Grade the 2011 draft

The 1st 3 picks were epic, especially DeMarco Murray. - Bob Sacamano

Who are your top three?

who you would like to see Dallas draft with #9? Mine goes: 1. Von Miller 2. Prince Amukamara 3. Cameron Jordan - Bob Sacamano

Here are the four mock drafts by Bob Sacamano prior to the 2011 draft. JJ Watt wasn't selected in any of them.

Two Prince Amukamera. Tyron Smith once. Cameron Jordan once.

So Bob... yeah, we get it. JJ Watt is having a great year. Tyron Smith is struggling this year.

But can you give it a rest with acting like you knew this or otherwise predicted this all along, when it's clear to all that you were just as high on Tyron as everyone else?

Middy doing his best Zkill impersonation by rifling though past posts like a dumpster-diving J. Edgar Hoover.

I don't put too much stock in any of us missing on a player. I gave Bob crap sometimes because he was always riding me for my picks. He takes it too personal IMO.

Bob is all over the place come "draft season" and is obsessed with hindsight. He usually has really good takes on college players but he hates it if you don't like the same players he does. Almost Hostile-like in that aspect. GloryDays, another good draft guy, loves a different player weekly leading up to the draft. I tend to be in the absolutely like/don't like category and am stubborn about changing my mind on players. Also like Hostile :)puke) , I have much more exposure to Pac 12 players, so I tend to pimp them more. Mid seems to be getting more and more involved with the draft craze. Sheik is gay.

The point is the guy was just as jacked as everyone else about getting him, but is acting like he was against it all along now and trying to rub it in peoples faces like "toldja so!"

Tupperware showed me how to put bob on some vbulletin ultra ninja ignore so I'm surprised this thread even appeared. Not sure why anyone puts stock into his posts. He loves the attention just as much as Hos though, so you might think that you're shitting on him, but he'll just use it like fertilizer and post even more insane stuff now.

PS: lets go catch a game soon
