Pretty sure we passed the point where we can be over. Have to be under by the start of the league year, which has started.

Just...... need...... to...... restructure...... a............ few.........umph...... more.......... ahhhhhhh.......

I agree with SP. we should have no problem even with our cap issues signing low level free agents to surround our already stacked Super Bowl contending team

Are we restructuring to sign low level free agents? Or to set money aside for our rookie pool? Because we don't have the cap room to do either right now.

Need more of Stephen Jones fumblefucking future years just to do that.

I get your point but frankly that's all we need. Solid cheap role players. That's what we've been missing.

Also am not a MD, but am curious as to whether there are different levels of achilless injuries and if so, perhaps he had a milder version. Wasnt there reports that the guy was already running and stuff?
Not one either, but yes, it matters where the tear occurred - in the middle or closer to one of the attachments.

so apparently,

the romo and spencer deals are close to done, Nick eatman said on the break that nate livings deal was not officially restructured and he could be cut, brandon moore did in fact visit with the team last week.

Why would we do that? I thought he played pretty well last year (relatively) and he doesn't make a ton of money.

His play got worse as the year wore on, and he has injury concerns. He also has no position flexibility, as he's a guard only. Bernadeau is cheaper and can play G or C, which is why he'd probably be kept even if he got beaten out of a starting position.

I've been saying since seasons end that I thought Livings getting chopped was possible.

I dont know maybe he is replaced by moore, then we draft a tackle and leary, mack, costa, kowalski(still here right?) and another pick fight for guard center?

not sure.

why are people and more importantly the media harping on us bringing in free agents and "don't have the money to sign them"??

If the Romo extension is as close to done as being reported we could have as much as $10M in cap room today.

would be cool if we did.

I have to be honest. It seems there are a number of good offensive and defensive lineman so I hope we sign huff and allen and durant...
or at least another vet sam and vet safety.

this way next month we can just draft lineman, a rb, te then next year worry about safety.

I like Huff in Kiffin's scheme. Safety with corner like skills.

Allen doesn't suck but doesn't impress me either (which means we'll sign him).

I think Justin Durant was the reason the Lions were comfortable moving Ernie Sims in the first place. Plus, he's from Hampton, my almost alma mater.

Thanks to pushing guaranteed money into future years. Piss poor cap management. This has been covered.

No, no. Much better to pay Romo $16 m and Spencer $10 m and then lose at least 1 of them next year and then have to overpay the other with a franchise tag to stay. That's the much better plan.
