Here's the complete SPLC indictment.
The funny thing about this indictment is none of it was illegal until the committed bank and wire fraud which they didn't have to do. There is no law against paying someone to infiltrate an organization like the KKK. But it became a crime when they opened accounts for fictitious organizations and used those accounts to wire money to other accounts trying to hide the fact they were paying these people. That looks like money laundering, bank fraud, and wire fraud. I have no idea if a jury will convict them or not but on paper it looks like laws were broken.
The other thing that strikes me about this indictment is it reads like what should have been a 60 Minutes expose. You can bet if it was the NRA or True the Vote doing stuff like this the left wing networks would spend hours of air time exposing all the corruption and criminal behavior. Instead, the networks will probably do something to downplay the indictment and make it all look like another political hit job by the Trump administration.
There was a time when every journalist was looking for the next Watergate to make them famous. Yet in recent year we have seen Russiagate, Unkrainegate, ActBlue, Voting improprieties, and this SPLC garbage and not a single network reporter has lifted a finger to look into it all.
