Wake's football team is historically terrible, and 4 medicore to good seasons in ten years doesn't change that. They are not a major football program. They do not do well on a yearly basis. They are not seen as a program that kids want to go to in order to play at a powerhouse or to be contenders in their own half of the ACC, much less the entire ACC, much less the top 25.
