Harbaugh to Dallas?

A great line I heard from an AFC assistant coach was that the real reason the 49ers are building a new stadium is that Harbaugh’s ego doesn’t fit into Candlestick Park. He won at Stanford, in San Francisco, and famously made the franchise draft Colin Kaepernick. But like Bill Parcells, who wore out his welcome after four prickly years in New England, three with the Jets and four in Dallas, San Francisco has had it with Harbaugh’s antics.

Prepare for Harbaugh Watch all season in 2014. Assuming Harbaugh doesn’t win the Super Bowl, NFL people repeatedly say Dallas is the most likely landing spot because, well, Jerry Jones.

Thats weird... because I'd actually think that Jerry Jones would be the exact reason why it WOULDN'T happen.

He apparently has two years left on his deal (barring a secret extension) , does this mean they will trade him after this season? I don't think they would just fire him.. Article claims this will more than likely be his last year in SF..

Id love to have him, but I don't want to get trade raped to do so.

I'd get trade raped to get a really for real head coach in here.

Without hesitation.

Just getting a good HC isnt enough. It needs to be somebody like Jimmy again, who not only is an elite HC but can run the football ops the way they should be.

That would be fucking awesome.

You can't trade for head coaches anymore. It's against the law.

I think Harbaugh is the closest thing out there to that.

Not even Cowher deserves that much power, IMO.

Supposedly the rift is due to Harbaugh wanting more say in personnel. That doesn't happen in Dallas

Jerry ain't going back to walking on eggshells anytime soon. He's happy with a pushover like Garrett. I'd even say a Garrett extension is more likely than bringing on Harbaugh

Once the stadium is half full by Week 8 he'll be offering Harbaugh $12 million a year.

Exactly.

No way he's coming here unless Jerry completely changes, and that ain't happening.

I dont think Harbaugh is making any personnel decisions there. How do we know he'd be any good at it?

Meh.

Nobody is winning anything significant in Dallas. Not with the hillbilly playing fantasy football.
