^^^ Not surprising at all. I once had two libtards where I used to work argue vehemently that the AR 15 I had just bought should be illegal because the bullet was so large it would destroy a car or truck or something.

They thought this was the actual bullet.

Good news for Creeper

I was just going to post another article about this. being from NJ this one is particularly satisfying for me. The NJ assault weapons ban law listed all the guns that were banned as well as characteristics that were banned as well. rifles could not have folding stocks, forward pistol grips, flash suppressors, threaded barrels for screw on devices like silencers, and other cosmetic things. Apparently the court left some of NJ's law in effect while throwing out the rest. I suspect threaded barrels are still illegal, but I have not been able to get specifics yet.

Manufacturers did make some weapons that were legal in NJ and some gun dealers would modify other weapons to be in compliance with the law, but this made buying a legal modern rifle very difficult. They were very hard to find. I have not seen anything yet about what NJ will do to respond to the court's ruling or if it goes into effect immediately. Still all good news for NJ and the country.

French police ‌detained a man on Monday July 27th, after he attacked three women with knives near Porte de Clichy in northern Paris, Interior Minister Laurent ‌Nunez told reporters. The man attacked the three women, who were aged 19, 24 and 36, with two kitchen knives, severely wounding two of them, Nunez added.

Well thank goodness none of the people involved were armed with guns, or it could have been much worse !!! /s

These statistics have been available for years. The number of murders committed with AR style weapons is actually very small but it is the weapon of choice in some school shootings so liberals can jump on that to vilify the weapons. If you research the Columbine school shooting case, you will find that the majority of victims in the school were killed with shotguns. The shooters had a Tech9 but it jammed so they turned to the shotguns. If you know weapons, shotguns are devastating at close range and are actually the weapon of choice by both the military and police forces for close range tactical missions.

The entire argument against assault weapons is based on ignorance, not facts. Assault style weapons that are banned are banned because of visual characteristics, not lethality. The anti-gun movement and the climate change movement have one major commonality. They are both short on truth and logic.

Despite all the libtard "outrage", to date, the worst ever school massacre wasn't committed with a handgun, shotgun, AR or even a knife.

It was with TNT.

Explosives are almost impossible to get in the US now, which kind of makes the argument for gun control. If we make guns as rare as explosives then we will make murder with guns as rare as murder by explosives.

The problem is, explosives were never as commonly used as guns to making guns as rare as explosives would be virtually impossible even if we did away with the 2nd amendment.

Pretty sure people can make explosive at home if they know what they are doing.

Bath School, 1927?
You would be correct sir.

The Deadliest School Act of Violence (1927)
    • Date: May 18, 1927
    • Death Toll: 45 people, including 38 children and the perpetrator, Andrew Kehoe.
    • Cause: A disgruntled school board member detonated explosives he had planted inside the school, followed by a secondary truck explosion, making it the deadliest act of mass murder/violence at a school in U.S. history. [1, 2, 3, 4]

If Al Gore had made a movie about this, his title "An Inconvenient Truth" would have been accurate
