I don't remember her name but that chick in this movie was sexy/cute as hell.

I would've given her the business if she asked me too.

I was wrong. That is correct. The nfl rule book is retarded.

However, you fucktard, you didn't say shit. As a matter of fact you said a bunch of nothing. To the tune of, I don't know if the call was right or not but I at least thought it warranted a review.

Cop out. Fag boy.

uh huh

Fuck Periera. For a guy who sat on TV every week bullshitting, he expects me to take him seriously when it's obvious as fuck he has some axe to grind with the league?

That dude's been pissing on the NFL officiating since the day he set foot on the Fox studio set.

The rule is fucking stupid but there's a difference between Calvin's play and Cruz's play. It's obvious as fuck that Cruz catches the ball and makes a move for the endzone, whereas Calvin basically lunged for the ball to catch it and it rattled out when he hit the ground.

The rule as it is written says they're the same but anyone who watches the two plays can see an obvious fucking difference. Cruz is being tackled and fights for the goal line but Calvin just doesn't hold onto the ball after diving for it. The play hinges on the order in which Cruz technically "established" possession and made a move after the catch. Because Allen was holding a leg up he couldn't technically establish possession even though he has the ball secured.

Had he gotten his second foot down and the play carries out the same, it's an uncontested TD because he "established" possession and made a move afterward.

Instant replay was supposed to correct obvious fuck ups. It may do that but a majority of the time it's simply being used to look for ways to take away good plays based on some technicality.

I'd much rather they don't fucking review anything automatically. Make coaches throw their flag. You don't need to review to see if a shitty punt grazes a member of the kicking team's pinky finger before drilling a member of the return team square as can be. It fucking happened in front of everyone and the initial replay shows clearly that the dude was drilled by it. Move the fuck on.

The more they have instant replay the more they're going to have to adjust rules to account for every possible twist and turn in events. It's just fucking dumb at this point because instant replay is doing more harm than good, IMO.

I still want to know why the play wasn't reviewed. I thought all scoring plays were. This clearly wasn't a cut and dry TD.

Thats not a rulebook problem. Thats a ref problem.

I'm 100% convinced some of those guys, if not the entire crew had money on this game.

I do think the rulebook is a problem. It is too complex to be enforced reliably.

I don't have a firm opinion about corrupt officials. It seems unlikely if not preposterous to me, but then again with so much money potentially involved, it would be naive to think such a thing is not possible.

The rulebook is absolutely a problem. Not are there too many rules, new ones are added every year. And even the existing rules seem to have nuances added to them every season. Pretty tough job these refs have keeping it all together.

And I agree with Hoof on Perriera. What a smug arrogant old prick that guy is.

I can't stand Perieria either and I couldn't give 2 shits to what he has to say. The refs are always wrong according to him, like Hoofbite said.

Just shut the fuck up and go away. No one cares.

it is, but most of the calls/non calls they blow a 14 yr old could get right..

I don't see why its preposterous. NFL officials have complained for years about pay and benefits, and compared to the other sports they have a legit gripe. Vegas clearly got to NBA officials. I could definitely see some of these guys going off the reservation for a chance to make some extra $$$, especially when they feel jilted by the league.

Then there is the really crap part, one's that might not be doing it for money. When you see the league putting guys that were liefelong residents of Pittsburgh and grow up a Stealer fan into a super bowl that the Stealers are in, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how that story might play out.

All I know is the refs watch us like hawks and use every rule against us.

Call me paranoid all you want. They do. And other teams get away with murder. There have been games we're we've had 9 or 10 penalties while the other team wasn't flagged once.

Remember that season opener vs the jets a couple years ago? They got NO penalties, then ended up being one of the most flagged teams in football for the season.

But hey, they were ultra disciplined against us.
