Just very frustrating to see guys like Romo, Witten, and Ware lose the opportunity to build off what Parcells brought here. The team has been in disarray since 2006 once Jerry took back over. Garrett would be fine for a team like the Jags who are years away from contending. We needed a legit HC here. It's just not right to throw away the careers of 3 players who might be in the HOF one day.

As a friend said today, Harbaugh is the best coach in the game and by FAR my favorite coach. I've been saying it since he was at Stanford. His teams are ALWAYS prepared and look like they are on another level scheme wise. It doesn't matter what personnel he has, his teams are ready to play and everybody knows exactly what theyre doing. Just awesome awesome awesome to watch his teams.

Everyone made excuses for Ginger, saying that he didn't get to have a full offseason with the team and that's why he blew those leads last year and cost the team a playoff birth. Redballs has been around here for years now.

Harbaugh truly walked in mid-lockout and worked some magic. He's one of a handful of great, young coaches who have had immediate success with less talent.

Remember Bruce Read with his Moe-from-Three-Stooges bowl haircut? He was no more a fuckup of an ST coach than DeCamillis.

Had not DeCamillis broke his neck from Jerry' bubble tent, he probably would have been fired. God I miss Joe Avezzanno. Now THAT was an ST coach. I used to think he was high on coke, but I didn't care. At one time, I think he would have made a hell of an HC.

Jesus, I would have laughed at you had you told me we'd actually get crappier on special teams after Read finally GTFO, and yet here we are...

~cry~

WTF is wrong with this team?

And that is the huge drawback with Garrett. The guy is learning how to be a coach on the fly with a veteran laden roster.

Harbaugh has been working his way up the coaching ranks since 1994.

Garrett has been at it since 2005.

Harbaugh also has a very veteran laden coaching staff and a bunch of guys he has already worked with. Garrett has a mish mash of leftover Phillips relics along with Ryan's crew.

This game was sorry and pathetic.

How can u not motivate your team to be ready to play in god damn week 2?

Shouldn't the issue be trying to calm them down after all this time off?

Really really really bad game for this organization. This game could be Garrett's trademark game. He had no problem hanging the jets and lions games last year on romo, well everyone should put this one on him today.

There was absolutely no emotion. I really am starting to believe the game of football is only really really important to romo, witten and lee. I just don't see much passion from anyone else.

I mean I get the sense that if Jim Schwartz slapped Garrett like he did harbaugh, Garrett would shake his hand and thank him.

And it appears that rubs off, the only good quality I like about rob Ryan is that he is half crazy buttery have taken that out of him and e is all politically correct now.

This game wasn't lost because of x's and o's today it was lost because of a lack of focus, attitude and resiliency.

It's just sorry. I honestly don't see the difference between this game and the give up late in the jax and gb games in 2010.

And to top it off we lost sensebaugh it appears for a long time, church, Albright, spears and Coleman to injury.

Oh and DEz is a dud. All that talent, all that hype, all the trouble and we get production out of him similar to most teams 2nd and 3rd options.

I was willing to wait on Felix in August, now he is just taking up space. I would trade him or cut him ths week or next. He would never be active on game day for me again.

Again, I am baffled at how u can't get a team motivated and focused to play in WEEK 2. I mean what is It you play the game for if your mentally checked out in week 2?

Pretty sad day. This has potential to be a long year....we now have good corners and lost both safeties with a team way better than Seattle coming in here Sunday.

I flipped around to pretty much every game today, IMO we had the shittiest could care less attitude I saw. In week 2.

We lose to Tampa next week and we could be looking at 1-4 with a game at Philly staring us in the face.

Oh shit, what's the story with Sensabaugh and Church? I saw they were out at the end but haven't heard much since.

I realize that next week is the home opener and that alone merits excitement but did today's game take away some of the luster of next week for you???

Church had a quad injury he couldn't play through, sensebaugh has either a calf strain or an Achilles injury and was in a boot.

Albright ad X-rays and was in rough shape, Coleman was out for a few plays and spears immediately got bulled and gave up the huge lynch run...,, then spears got hurt.

Tampa played with all kinds of energy and they are big up front...they have the potential to kill us at the line of scrimmage.

No, really nothing can.

But it's more evident to me our coaching staff is average at best and it is showing up.

Ray Horton had Peterson and William gay outside and he went after Wilson all day and took away lynch last week....

We played safe and gave him easy throws.....10 days to prepare and that is what we came up with....50 mil for Carr, trade up for claibourne and we decided to rush three and play scared.

So again no, I love the ame to much to be indifferent to it but I pretty much understand this team has issues on the sideline that will keep s from getting ahead.

I expect Tampa to push us around though. Mcray and silva at safety sounds pretty scary to me.

I'd include Murray and Ratliff---if he were playing.

Murray seemed pretty meh today.

Ratliff and vickers could probably go into that category also I guess.

All I know is months worth of good will and supposed return to focus and attitude was flushed down the toilet today and the guy in charge Cant blame romo or Jerry jones tonight.

Sorry it's the damn iPad.

Was saying Ryan is half crazy and that was his draw. He motivates players with his daily energy and emotion...

But it appears they have turned him into a politically correct version of himself.

I understand he lost weight and cut his hair and is behaving because he is trying to get a head coaching job....but is this best for us?

I agree, though a buttery Rob Ryan would be good for this team too. Great post though, and yeah, even after today's shitfest, I'd still be stoked to go see the home opener next week.

Y'all are just a bunch of haters. The genius of Red Jesus shall prevail. Another two and a half full offseasons or so and you'll see.

lol

That's my biggest problem with CZ and many on this site even. There's a select group so far up Jerry's rectum that they refuse to believe anything is wrong with this organization (despite years and years of evidence to the contrary).

Then there's the group who vacillate back and forth with their opinions depending on whether or not the team wins. Garrett consistently blows. It shouldn't take shitty losses like the one today in order to prove that to the fanbase.

I was disgusted that we were still trying to pass the ball with 30 seconds left. We could have lost Romo or some other player for nothing. Take a fucking knee, Red.

We have an RB now and a semi-athletic Oline to where we can now run screens effectively--- something we haven't been able to do since... Dorsett? But how mnay times do we run it? ONE TIME this entire game, and it was successful. If Garrett would just run screens a few times---they don't have to be one after another, that would keep the defenses honest, and then Garrett could run some playaction. But instead he wants to waste the same plays on Felix. It's Arizona all over again.

And then Fat Rob... where was the pressing of WRs? All that money spent on Carr because he was good at pressing WRs. Where was the blitzing?
