Jerry Jones is disappointed with 4-4

During his twice-a-week radio show, Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones expressed disappointment with his teams 4-4 record.

Of the eight first-place teams in the NFL, the Cowboys have the worst winning percentage at .500.

"I'm disappointed," Jones said Tuesday morning on KRLD-FM. "I take no solace in the fact that we had our losses to teams that were by a point or less."

The Cowboys have lost to Kansas City, Denver and Detroit by a total of five points. But the Cowboys have allowed the second-most second-half points in the NFL at 115 and allowed 67 fourth-quarter points, which is fourth in the league.

Several players talked about finishing games and Jones agrees that needs to happen. Jones also noted injuries can bother teams from achieving their goals.

The Baltimore Ravens lost four of their last five games in 2012 and Jones said it didn't stop that team from winning the Super Bowl last season.

"In this particular case we got to keep our eye on course this Sunday [against Minnesota]" Jones said. "But we got to keep our eye on continuing to win games. This thing will come down to the end and could have a situation like Baltimore did last year. They didn't look like they were in it. They weren’t playing very well. We missed beating them by a six-inch field goal [last season], to refresh our memory and they end up in the world championship. We're continuing to have some injuries that will impact that, too. So we just got to keep dealing with what we’re dealing with and I want to be very positive, though we're sitting here probably [with] as a good a chance, although we are missing some players, but other teams are to, but we’re sitting here with as good chance of where we want to be as when we started the season."

LOL

He really does believe that stumbling into the playoffs and magically getting hot is the new way to win in this league.

Yup. You don't need an OL, head coach, safeties or any semblance of a DL. Just gotta make the playoffs and then everyone is suddenly just equal. Owners and the fag mods at CZ are surely eating this diarrhea up by the spoonful.

I hope he makes this another uncomforable offseason around valley ranch and fires another positional coach or two!

That'll show 'em!

You know what... Someone posted a while ago a little sentence or two about how Jerry has changed over the years. (And not just the face.) I never thought about it that much, but when you see old vids of him when he first got the team, he looks like a mean old SOB who would sell out his mother to win. Maybe to win at business, but still, he was just... Different. He looked borderline evil. I don't know if he's just mellowed as he's aged, or if he's accumulated so much wealth that it's taken the edge off him, but you forget what drive he had when he came on the scene. I really don't think that guy would have made all the excuses that he does now.

Back then he was just paying for the gas while someone else was driving the bus. Care free with the windows down learning on the fly.

Now that he considers himself the alpha /omega and everything in between with this franchise he's driving the bus without a road map and to stubborn to stop and ask for directions.

"But fuck you if you think I'm to blame," Jones added. "After all, I gave them everything they needed to win."

He's a glorified minister of propaganda.

Hey fans, I don't like 4-4, but we almost beat Baltimore last year and they won the super bowl. So see, we can win the super bowl. /flawlesslogic

He has no incentive to change. He fills the stadium, he makes tons of money and I honestly think he enjoys things now. He can talk about being disappointed being 8-8, but he'd rather be that than 10-6 and uncomfortable like he was when Parcells was here.

We talk about the next head coach and that is really what we need. Some old war horse who really doesn't give a shit and shows up Jerry for the fraud he is. I bet part of the reason he ran Reeves out of town was due to that.

from what I've been told, Jerry really thinks that everything he does is brilliant, innovative, blah, blah, blah and that he is legitimately surprised that they aren't winning super bowls every year. He always think they are one player, one break, etc. away from winning it all.

The problem was, is, and will be him.

The bus is running on flats and he put gas in it instead of diesel. He's about to run it into the ditch again.

Absolutely he believes that.

They've been spouting that shit for a couple seasons now. It's a fucking joke that it has become their "Plan A".
