He was never released, or cut, and his return is pending his appeal of the conditions. Seems he doesn't feel it's important enough to serve his suspension and undergo the monitoring the league is requiring.

He is NOT on the roster in any form, pending the appeal.

The hearing won't be scheduled? They missed the deadline - apparently couldn't give the guy a hour over the 13 days required, so they modified the conditions only a little?

Look the appeal closed on September 26th. He's probably not on the roster because all he can do at the moment is attend meetings. He cannot practice or work out with the team. Do you need to be on a roster to sit in meetings?

I'm telling you, he IS under contract.

Now if he gets in legal trouble tomorrow the league will out likely ban him for life, but as of today he is a member of the Cowboy's

this should not be hard.

He's either on the roster or he isn't. He should be showing on the reserve/suspended list at the very least.

But, now we're on to the feel good story - can he battle his demons and win, and make himself a contributor to society and use his salary to help the daughter he partially orphaned.

Here's hoping he can, now that the deal is done.
