With the performance he has shown so far, he's not worth keeping. He's gone June 1st IMO.

Jerry is already publicly known as terrible in contract negotiations. This has been way too public. If Doug Free doesn't take a pay cut and Jerry keeps his underperforming ass, every player down the road will continue to walk all over us.

This is why I think the cut should be made. Not only because Free is the worst starting tackle in the league or because we're paying him 10 mil but because of the example this sets.

Guys are seeing that you could put together one good year with this team, get paid and don't have to worry about shit after that. Who cares if you get lazy you'll still have a job. Horrible example being set with this organization. Guys like that should be cut immediately. No one will fight for their job if they don't have to.
