This is an unbelievable story. How does someone survive not one, but two lethal injections, becomes brain dead & put on life support only to wake up? If they wanted her dead, why did they rush her to the hospital? It's obviously not her time.

In June 2002, Christa Pike asked a judge to drop all of her legal appeals and set an execution date because she was deeply depressed, struggling with severe mental illness, and felt entirely hopeless about ever leaving prison.
