The day most of you have waited for has finally arrived, The Day After Thoughts have been retired until such time that the owner does something rather drastic to fix this shit.

I don't have anything to say about them anymore. I guess that fatass Dennis Green put it best with the "they are who we thought they were" statement years ago. The Cowboys are clearly what many of you suspected they would be, a mediocre team.

Awful effort in all phases today. The team looked like a fucking joke, and this after getting up on them 21-10 and having probably more than half the Chargers stadium pulling for them like a pseudo home game. Lee's TD should have been a KO, and instead it was the start of a laughingstock type finish.

I'm done writing about it, it isn't worth the time. I couldn't ever pull for another team but its readily apparent this shit just isn't worth the time or trouble anymore. Same shit EVERY FUCKING YEAR

I was only half watching the game.

My fandom is dying.

I had the game on and whenever I heard a big play i watched, but i missed most of the in betweens.

The really don't know much about what happened today, so I was looking forward to Dbairs write up. Oh well.

If you guys can't see we're building something here, I don't know what to tell you. It is a process.

Most teams take 7 or 8 years to build a top half of the league offense, right?

You're right. I did the same with USC and 3 weeks later, Kiffin is fired and I'm hopeful for the future. Cowboys are a little more ingrained in me though. Next 2 weeks might about do me in.

I'll still cheer. I just don't have much hope for sustained long term success with the way the team is run now. Winning the division and getting in the playoffs is just going to further extended the horrible front office architecture even longer.

After today, I'm not even so sure the division is a sure thing. The Skins game on the 13th could be pretty interesting from a division standpoint.

BTW, go read the NCAA players thread and answer my question.

In a way we have the hardest team to root for. Mediocre for years and years, same cast and crew, nothing changes, no new blood. It just is. And then it is again next year with a better strength coach. There's no arc. Just one of 32 football teams playing competitive football. Same time next week.
