You'd think that someone who plays football for a living would know a little bit about the history of the game. And not ancient history, either.
It is kids now days. I was listening to a show today and they did an informal poll in a bar asking 20 something's if they knew who Joe Montana, Vince Lombardi and OJ Simpson were. Most didn't know who Lombardi was. A few knew who Montana was, but everyone knew OJ killed his wife.

Not sure why it's expected for him to know the game. He was probably busy playing it at a high enough level to get drafted into the NFL while some of yall were watching it on TV and reading facts from the Zone Historian.
