We're kinda hoping the in shorts/combine athleticism shows itself on the playing field in year 3 this year.

There have been lots of positive reports this offseason about his improvements.

But the real game action will determine if he ends up as an awfully athletic/effective NFL left tackle and NOT just a really athletic big guy in shorts who isn't offered a 2nd contract.

Has looked like a different player in camp so far.

Totally changed his body too after spending a lot of the offseason working out with the other guys, incl Tyron Smith.

Milton needs a good showing to move ahead of Dak on the depth chart for the #2 QB. Howell may be kept on ice the rest of the preseason. We can't risk losing him.

It'll hurt the team but it had to be done. You simply can't let that guy suit up as a Dallas Cowboy again after all he's said and done. Reneged on his contract, reneged on his handshake, demanded a trade, faked a back injury and finally, lying on the trainer's table in the open and during a game. You don't get to be a Dallas Cowboy. There's gotta be a line, a fuckin minimal standard of conduct and behavior.

Milton has been highly impressive & shown massive strength thus far. He looks like a completely transformed player compared to last year, pairing his signature arm strength w/far better pocket presence.

Against the Cards the kid was 9-of-13 for 179 yards, 2 passing TD's, 1 rushing TD, & a 151.4 passer rating. ZERO picks. Milton's scrimmage & game tape have firmly put him in the drivers seat for the QB2 job.

Howell had an elite rating in his first game, his overall numbers dropped significantly after a tough second outing tossing a pick under pressure. He plays too conservative, 7.2 yards per attempt unlike Milton who is averaging over 10 yards per pass attempt.
Hopefully Milton wins #2. Because he's earned it!

We are in deep shit if Dak goes down. Milton is a mental midget and Howell can't drive the bus well enough to do anything of significance.

I doubt Milton is going to be the #2 this year. Howell is probably going to beat him out pretty easily unless he gets hurt.
