So now GP is going to be forced to play on the franchise tag for $27 million fully guaranteed. Poor George…. How is he going feed his family. Can GP keep his attitude in check or is the real GP going come out? If he has any snap at all he will thank God to have the opportunity he has and get right down to work. Being a distraction is not going to help his situation in getting a long term deal. If he clearly demonstrates professionalism and goes to work it will make him more attractive to other teams when it comes time to trade him. GP will not be on the team for the long haul…. Bank it. According to SJ no teams have expressed interest in GP but that could change on a dime during and after the draft. No denying GP is a talent….but the money and potential attitude is a problem. As much of an idiot JJ is I have to agree with his strategy tagging GP. Stay tuned and get your pop corn.

If he played on the tag this yr and next yr it would be 2yrs, nearly 60 million I think I read.

But players don't love it because of the injury potential. They want to cash in as much as possible.

They did say they met with Pickens and the agent about this a week ago and informed them this was going to be the decision. We'll see how it plays out.

I think barring a slew of injuries, expecting our defense to go from historically bad to at least average is not that much of a stretch for us to hope for.

If that happens and the end results are no different, they can't ignore the elephant in the room any longer.

That's one reason I'd like to see us get a real developmental #3 QB this year. But next year could end up being the year we have to get a QB on day one.

There are very little shitheads leftover from last year’s shit pile of a team.

This defense is almost entirely new players.
