Two nice addition for depth last night. Durant has started at CB for 2 1/2 yrs for the Rams and has been a decent playmaker at CB for them. Hennessy is bigger and more of an OL scheme fit than Hoffman (who we all liked, he was a try hard guy who played with real attitude). Hennessy has starting experience at C as well.

I doubt either one of them got much money but quality depth.

the Rams decided to remake their CB group and they just spent somewhere in the $174m range for two corners.

Nobody claimed Durant was great. But compared to what we had last yr and considering our current top-2 CB's have injury questions (esp Bland) he's a nice addition with starting experience. Good 3rd/4th CB option assuming we get another one early in the draft.

They've freed up quite a bit of money in the last 24-36 hours. You'd think there must be some sort of move coming.

Interwebs has been buzzing a little over potential trade for Vikes Edge Jonathan Greenard or Stealers Edge Alex Highsmith. Greenard has a shoulder thing that impacted him most of last yr but if healthy he is a quality player. Highsmith is very underrated.

It's Fishhead so the Cowboys part is always take it for what it's worth, but I checked on the guarantee part and it looks like there is some money due to him today or tomorrow. Might mean a trade will happen pretty quick if the money matters to them. There were several teams reportedly interested.

One possible scenario, Dallas flips pick 12 for Vikes pick 18 (worth 300 pts, a late 2dn rd pick) and we get Greenard plus a day 3 pick in return. I would imagine his value is somewhere between a late 2nd and maybe early 4th (assuming he is heathy). If it's more a salary dump for Vikes you might could get him for a day 3 pick only though.
