He was a no-brainer priority to resign, but not at any price. Could be several reasons he switched agents, but the most likely is someone promised him they'd get him a far better deal.

True story to the phags at CZ, Rico Dowdle never gained more than 58 yards in any of his last NINE games (incl the playoff loss). Almost 50% of his rushing total came in 3 games vs Dolphins (at time, a true dreg defensively), us (one of worst defenses we have ever fielded) and the GB game.

His last 9 games he totaled 350 yds on 110 carries (3.2 yds per carry) and 2 TD's. In his last two games (season finale and playoffs) he amassed 19 yds on 12 carries.

Javonte didnt even play the final game of the yr and easily outgained him for the season. He also had 8 games with at least 83 yds rushing.
