Parker's babysitter has arrived

Parker and Schottenheimer wanted to hire Pettine back in the spring, but he wanted to retire. Schottenheimer said he's had an open offer since to join the staff.

Both of them have worked with Pettine previously (Parker with the Packers, Schottenheimer with the Jets under Rex Ryan)

I doubt it will make any real difference but it almost assuredly can't make anything worse than it already is. At least Pettine has experience and has run defenses (and a team, he was also a HC).

From your Tweet: "One HC who had Pettine on his staff: “They finally hired a real coach. Pettine is legit. Dallas will walk away with that division now.”

What does that say about Parker and Schotty? And what does that say about those 2 if this comes to fruition (which I don't think it will)?

This place is a cluster fuck......

At least Jerry seems more reasonable about this than some others, who got all bent out of shape about it like it was some forbidden thing for someone to speak the truth about Dak and how the Cowboys performed Thursday night.

Will def be interesting to see how this plays out (or if it even helps) but this certainly seems like code for "Parker's days calling plays are numbered"

Not really sure why they brought this guy back, getting more help for this sieve of a defense would have seemed to be smarter. Especially with all the secondary injuries.

They are saying there's a decent chance he starts or at least plays against us next MNF as well.

I dont know what kind of career he will go on to have, but I bet next MNF will be a career best game regardless.

"Hurts will now miss games against the Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders and New York Giants before the Eagles have their bye in Week 10, with a chance to fully evaluate their quarterback's health and their team's outlook." ESPN

So glad I did not watch Sunday Nights game. There is zero chance of making the playoffs. Jerruh Jones is the worst owner/GM in the entire NFL. Pointless to waste time and emotion on a team that is going backwards. This is 100% on JJ. I’ll be spending my time fishing and playing music. Not going to torture myself wasting time watching the continued disintegration of this once proud organization pre JJ days.

Is it bad if I say I'm rooting for Milton? I want this franchise to continue to be exposed, especially on the talent evaluation side. Of course, Milton can show the world why we let him go but still........

Unfortunately despite as shitty as we are, there's not "zero chance" to make the playoffs because the NFC East is SO fucking bad. We should have zero chance with how we are coached and how we play, but circumstances are otherwise with everything else.

What we do know for a fact is if somehow they won the division with a 7-10 or 8-9 record, they'll get absolutely curb stomped in the WC game at home by anybody they play (would be the 5th seeded team which right now would be Green Bay again)

It's a given Amigo. 350 yds passing, couple tds and probably 80-90 rushing yards and another TD.

I know suck when I see it . This entire organization is a joke…Playoffs or no playoffs. I just can’t waste hours of my life torturing myself every time I watch this pile of crap team and organization. JJ is awesome at selling the blue sky and people keep buying. Master marketer World Class Loser as GM!
