You've moved the goal posts. The mea culpa and the hat and crow eating is after we winda soup bow and Dak is MVP after such performance as I described. No stupid steak buying or any of that shit.

I've moved the goal posts? How so? I've been the most consistent guy here when it comes to Dak and there's not a close second.

This can't be a serious question. You're asking me for a mea culpa on my part when I'm the consistent poster who's been right on this bum for years. It's been 10 years. 10 freaking years. And self proclaimed football fanatics and hard core fans like yourself are still debating this guy like we have no body of work to make an informed decision. You keep hoping CP or moving the pawns on the chess board are going to change the end result. I don't believe it will. The sad part is I believe our D will be vastly improved but I also know the guy under center is going to wilt because he simply cannot carry the team.

But because I try to be an honest broker, I'll answer your question/comment; if Dak was to win the SB and be SB MVP, I'd be calling for him to go into the RoH and singing his praises, just like I've done consistently when he's played well. The real question is when will guys like you be convinced that this bum isn't the answer? I mean, it's been 10 years. You're like the cuck who's old lady has been sleeping around with everyone but you still want to give her (another) chance after chance hoping she lives up to the illusion of what you thought she once was. Sad.

I need to see 10 more years before making any determinations Amigo.

It's true.

Behind the scenes I've disciplined Dodger 4,689 times for his anti-Dak hate and propaganda.

You have and I accept the hits. But since we're on Dak, let me tell you how I think this will play out. Dak knew last year that he wasn't going to get blamed for losses since the D was historically horrific so he played loose. But if the D improves and Dak has to carry the team and the load, he'll fail because he can't handle the pressure.

I hope I was clear (again) for Dooms so he doesn't accuse me of moving the goalposts again. I mean, it's kind of embarrassing when someone accuses me of moving the goalposts where Dak is concerned. It makes me feel like I wasn't clear in my posts and opinions.

This year the excuse will be because of the devastating breakup with his fiance.

While the evidence is only circumstantial at this point, I believe you played a major role in wrecking this poor mans dream of family life in the hopes it would continue his mediocrity come big game and playoff time. I am going to continue investigating and uncover all the facts.

Don't have the decade long tenure here of being critical of Dak as you but trust me when I say that I share the same opinion of him as you.

Dodger has been busily assembling a team of minions in his evil plot against 4.

I'm going to have to start paying more attention at what is going on around here.

I've seen this movie before....we all have. But some of chose to ignore it. Mike Nolan was the worse DC in Cowboys history, statistically speaking. And then Dan Quinn came in to save the day and revamped the D. We still went nowhere. Now we're fawning over CP and I have no doubt the guy is going to revamped and improve this D as well. But he'll suffer the same fate as Quinn in Dallas which is he'll win nothing....zero....zilch.

CP is auditioning for a HC position and there's no better place for that then Dallas. Indeed, Quinn reinvented himself here after a disastrous ending in Atlanta. I have no doubt CP will succeed; by all accounts, the guy is a smart, business oriented Alpha Male. But he'll be saddled with the same bullshit that others were before him, and that's the scrub under center.

So we can all cover our eyes and talk SB because we hired a quality DC and added some quality pieces on D and act like we've never seen that before. I chose to see reality.

#4 has outplayed his draft position. He may be one of the best, if not the best, 4th round picks in Cowboys history. He's a good QB but he's not a franchise QB that can carry the team and take you to the Big Game. It's really that simple.

He's going to cost this team over 70 million in cap space next year. We paid this scrub like a franchise QB that he's not. We didn't take the search for a franchise QB seriously. We've used draft capital on the Lances and the Miltons of the NFL and we can throw in Stephen McGee and others. We should always churn the position and challenge the scrub we have now but he keeps the stands and the bank account full. I understand it from a financial position but not from a football fan position. I just don't see player X or coach Y and claim we have a shot at the SB when I know where any shot starts....with the guy under center. Dallas media sucks ass.
