John Owning likes MLaw. He noted the one thing you see in some of his clips is a kind of "false step" thing in his get off in some reps. It's correctable and of course we have one of the league's best pass rush gurus in BT Jordan to help coach that up though.

The physical talent and the love for the game/"want it" attitude are definitely there though. Wasn't much of quality talent around him at central Florida so teams really focused on him as well.

I mean he's got the outside speed get off but is he not just that same hoped for edge like Gregory(without the weed), Kneeland or EZ that they have already been drafting?

I mean, that is, if I'm allowed to be critical on this forum without immediately being called a clueless hater as with other beloved forums.

His measurables are eye opening. Would love for him to turn out to be a better version of a Martellus Bennett type minus Trigg's reported maturity issues.

Ferg has his moments every now and again but this kid looks to have a little wow factor in his raw athleticism.

I just have been so tainted by the long list of college injured Cowboy draftees that I now seek a minimum 2 to 3 seasons injury free before I can even approve if they were worth the draft pick.

In my eyes those originally damaged goods usually don't improve that much or even get worse.

Interesting. Unless it was a mistake, after we drafted him some of the reporters said he'd be tried at RT initially with swing T capability. Schotty seems to be saying he will be primarily on the LT side to begin.

Any kind of competition for the current offensive tackle room I fully support as I have little confidence in the existing starters.

Heck, I would love a Taylor Decker signing.
I know, I know, salary cap and all that.
But I'm just letting it be known he's still out there too though.
