No shit.

Get the ball at the 6 yard line and come away with 3 points?

Yeah, that's the process.

We were also damn lucky that that last Romo fumble (which the Tampa guy picked up) wasn't ruled a TD.

Stacking shit drives on top of shit drives.

Yeah, fuck that guy.

I'm sick of seeing him pretend to be an NFL coach.

Go back to QB coach and work your way up the right way without a helping hand from Uncle Jerry.

Call me in 8-10 years when you figure out how to manage the fucking game.

His bullshit onside kick today right before half is a complete joke.

I have no problem with the onside kick call. I mean the Titans did a lateral on a kickoff in the early stages of the 1st half today, and people are calling it brilliant.

Because it worked.

I'm giving Witten a pass. This week.

Jerry and Garrett better wise up and prioritize, or they will watch Romo's career end a lot sooner than they expect.

Its not that I think Witten is washed up, but he is obviously hurting and so concerned with his spleen injury that he cant focus on what he is doing out there. It was a great inspirational thing for him to be able to play opening night, but in all 3 games he has dropped passes and blocked poorly. The last two games he has had several huge drops. he's hurting the team by playing.

Not really the same risk.

Actually they were damn lucky the ref missed the obvious hands to the face call against Tyron Smith, otherwise we'd have gotten an automatic first down.

I didnt have a big problem with the onsides kick call either. Maybe they thought it was the type of thing that would snap them out of the funk they were in offensively. It wasnt like our defense was struggling to stop them either.

First and foremost, a lateral like that will almost always retain possession. Onside kicks are a random crap shoot.

Secondly, last week he relied on the defense to get a quick 3 & Out in order to give the offense one more possession. He didn't play aggressive, he punted on a short 4th down after failing to convert on 3rd down when he probably should have used a timeout leading up to the 3rd down play.

This week he gets aggressive and decides to risk a short field. Had he kicked it deep, the defense would have stopped the Bucs because the Bucs were basically stopping themselves. Dallas gets the ball at around midfield and they have plenty of time to execute a 2-minute drill properly.

He's fucking lost.

Please. That had nothing to do with that play failing. Free blocked no one and Witten got overpowered.

Please nothing. Its a fucking penalty dude. They call that garbage on us almost every week.

It was obvious, the guy had his hand in Smith's facemask through the entire play. Its the reason Smith got pushed all the way back into Romo.

Meh, given the offense we were facing today, I'm not wringing my hands over it.

I agree with pretty much everything else you've said though. It's just like 2 years ago when JG lost a couple of games for refusing to run, then goes into Washington and then runs it like crazy, even though it wasn't working, and we end up losing anyways.

The dude has no philosophy other than Don Coryell, pass, pass, run, pass.

At this point, I just want us to stop shooting ourselves in the foot with stupid penalties. Who knows what we could do if every drive we weren't faced with a 1st and 20 or a 2nd and 15.
