The Saints have now cleared nearly $30M in cap space, and that's very near the amount needed to absorb Deshaun Watson's 2022 cap hit ($35M) -- having also reportedly had a second meeting with the Texans quarterback that included attendance from team ownership. The Falcons remain heavily in consideration, but it appears the Saints are attempting the killshot to land Watson immediately.

The Texans have offers on the table from both, as well as the Browns.
