Cowboys tweak coaching staff
By Todd Archer | ESPNDallas.com
IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys continue to tweak their coaching staff with Keith O’Quinn becoming the assistant special teams coach and Kyle Valero added as an offensive assistant.
O’Quinn replaces Chris Boniol, who held the assistant special teams coach title from 2010-12 and has the same job now with the Oakland Raiders. O’Quinn has spent the last three years as an offensive quality control coach as well as an assistant wide receivers coach.
He is well thought of inside Valley Ranch and also has a scouting background. After a three-year run as a pro scout with the Cowboys, he was the Cleveland Browns' director of pro personnel in 2009.
Valero worked with new passing game coordinator Scott Linehan for four seasons with the Detroit Lions.
