I just watched a highlight real of this guys crazy catches. Pretty impressive. A ton of amazing one handers. Too bad half of them were incomplete because he didn’t get both feet in bounds.

We will soon see what kind of coach Shotty will turn out to be by the way he manages our new primadonna.

So I feel like based on the off season so far the team has gone from 5 to 7 wins, to maybe 7 to 9 wins. it will be a more interesting team to watch for sure even for no other reason than watching sideline melt downs.

For those of you that find any value in PFF I thought this was interesting:

According to PFF he is a poor separator. They have a QB that has never shown to be able to throw guys open and usually only throws when they are open. Not sure how that will work.

And he might not even be one. We shall see.
He's heading into a contract year. He'll want to get paid. To get paid he'll need to rack up some stats. To rack up some stats he'll need plenty of targets. Will he be happy with 5-6 targets per game while CeeDee gets his usual 10-12 targets?

I don't hate the trade. On the surface it appears like a relatively low risk, good value deal (one-year, $4.2m) for a talented player. But I can also see how it could quite easily backfire. As you say, we shall see.

John Owning noted that when watching him he runs mostly sideline/boundry based routes (in their scheme). He said that def explains some of this as well as some of the lower RAC numbers.

But he has uncanny contested catch ability (similar to Lamb) and that's extremely useful with Prescott. He doesn't always hit guys perfectly in stride. I think he will definitely be a help to the team.
