Who is gonna start? I have no faith in RoMac or Lee starting very many games. It is poor judgement to depend on either of them.
Ok

Do we even know McClain is coming back?
And even if he does, I bet his lazy ass will be extra motivated playing for free the first four weeks.
Answer the question. Do you really think the arsonist mental patient, the cripple and the rookie is a solid group of starters that they can depend on week after week? The rookie will probably play more games than the other two combined. What kinda insightful answer is "ok"? I finally feel well enough to bullshit with you guys and I get "ok" for an educated answer. Damnit David.
From what I read, Carter's deal is not that much of a cap hit. These contract numbers that are reported gives a maximum amount possible on the deal. Carter has had his problems switching schemes, but he has been good once he figured it out. Add the fact that he is a playmaker, and I consider it a loss. Please don't mention Lee. He has no place in conversation about being a starter for an entire season. He is great the few games that he plays, but he can't stay on the field. It was a waste of cap space to resign Lee with his health history. I am ok letting Durant go and RoMac is a ticking time bomb.
It is sad that this offseason has been so awful that I would actually see re-signing McClain as a win.
A few weeks ago, I was, eh.
Now, it is OMGWENEEDEM!
I never said let McClain walk. I said you can't depend on him. You missing that point made you type a lot for nothing. I wouldn't have kept Durant at that price. You have to keep starting quality LBs to fill in for players like Lee and McClain because you they miss so many games. From what I read, Carter's hit on the Buc's salary cap is a little over two million a year. He is damn sure worth that. Another point being missed is that all of these guys should have been approached with extensions long before now. It is stupid to hit free agency with this many players unsigned. You could rip my opinion apart if you could show me the grand master plan that to replace these players. They signed a couple old jags and a couple no-name FBs. Is that it. They can't even get Dez locked into a contract. You don't let players walk when there is no replacements. Total failure and it will bite them in the ass. I made the point about Benson because he did the same stupid crap by bring cheap. In the grand scheme of things, I don't care what they do. They can trade for Johnny Football for all I care, but this offseason is a joke. Do you think it has improved the team in any way?Look, I've been a supporter of Carter from the get-go. Trust me I wanted him to work out here but unfortunately he was coming off the bench. I would have liked to see him resigned for our depth and sub packages but not at that price tag. He got paid. Good for him. We had no business matching that offer.
You're ok with Durant leaving. And you're ok with McClain leaving.... So what exactly are you crying about? In an earlier post you said how you hoped they would have built on the players that produced 12-4. You also mentioned the saints owner Tom Benson letting his players go to avoid paying them.
So who? Bruce Carter? One player. Come on, man.
Unless we're talking about the entire team... Parnell? Harris? I'll laugh my ass out of this thread if you try to make that argument.
