It could be the Jones boys are genuinely distraught over what they saw last night and just don't feel up to it, or perhaps it means something is going on.

But both Jerry and Spawn canceled their regularly scheduled radio shows for today and tomorrow.

I don't blame the Jones Boys for canceling their shows. They should be too embarrassed to do interviews. But the recent Tweet by the team is very telling. The Joneses know what we've (ie: I knew) known all along.

Just read Mike McCarthy has canceled his scheduled show as well.

Negative. Dak might be what he is but he's still worth a 1st round pick. If Sam Bradford and Carson Wentz (Eagles to Colts) can command a 1st round pick and Wentz can command a second round pick from the Colts to the Redskins after a failed stint in Indy, Dak can command more.

why not?

IMO, just getting rid out his salary and getting the open roster spot would be worth it for nothing at all

but we know jeris delusional optimism, stubbornness and attachment to his players will mean Dak will get every penny of his contract and be here for 2 more years and possibly longer

a lot of dead cap $ though ($50M plus). it wouldn't be like Jerry to intentionally tank a season. he thinks we're in it every year.

89 million in dead money says this won't happen

agreed on the latter, didnt realize they'd be stuck with dead cap $$ if they did a trade (which jeri never would)

thing is, it doesnt matter what the cap hit is once you know a player is toast, you may as well free up the roster spot and absorb the hit as fast as possible so you can focus on finding a replacement...there's likely to be medicare to bad results either way

IMO, there's no benefit being a 7 to 9 win team that likely misses the playoffs or sneaks in and perhaps wins one but is incapable of going all the way so just take your lumps, start younger players, get higher draft picks, etc

its all moot as it applies to this franchise so I dont know why I even waste the keystrokes discussing it
