That one pick could have been Konz, who will most likely be a very serviceable center for the next decade. We are clearly in dire need of a center right now, no matter how much homers wanna pump Costa
If Claiborne pans out, then this isn't even an issue, but if he turns into the CB version of Shante Carver, then it'll be even more of a tragedy than just busting out on a 1st rounder.

He got lucky on that first one. By the time he located the ball, it was past him. Someone like Nicks will not drop it.

Konz isn't even playing center is he,isn't he playing guard...
The thing that never is brought up about all this take lineman in the 2nd round thing is we don't know how the cowboys view them.
They may not have seen these guys as a fit.
This reminds me...how's Wagner doing?
After seeing carter and Connor, I'm starting to think Wagner was a real option w our 2nd pick
Carter will be fine. Connor is nice depth. Wagner is smallish for a 3-4 ILB anyway. A luxury pick at best.
How's he doing
FYI-all lbs are getting smaller
The Seahawks are building a pretty good defense.
They are up there statistically but outside of Earl Thomas who is a playmaker on that D. Red Bryant is solid and Irvin has potential but they aren't imposing at all.
"Peanuts." Sean Lee was a 2nd round player. Is he merely "peanuts" to the Cowboys? Of course not.
If you pay $800,000 for something worth a million, that doesn't make the $800,000 peanuts, nor does it mean that you could afford to spend the $800,000 in that way that you did.
Jerry has made far worse decisions in the past, though (e.g., what Jerry gave to Detroit for Roy Williams). Against that backdrop, the Claiborne deal will never be remembered as an epic mistake. True enough.
No zero.
Peanuts in terms of what it has normally taken to get as high as the sixth pick. Swapping 1's and trading your 2 is not bad.
No matter if Jerry is the owner and the devil himself Jason Garrett is the coach.
Get a possible top flight corner who will not make much money over the four years and only had to add one extra pick.
Are you going to the game at ny?
No why?
