No. No pro would try a head shot much less try to hit the neck.

This was an untrained maladroit who tried for a head shot just like the Trump shooter did but this one had "luck" and hit something else vital.

Pros are trained to target just to the left of the sternum. Upper left chest - big target, can't suddenly move and contains guaranteed vitals like the heart and left lung.

I have three rifles that could make this shot easy with just a 5 power scope. I once hit a dime at 50 yards using only a little Marlin .22 long, no scope.

Who has access to pro snipers/rifles

We know this wasn't a high powered rifle because the sound of the report wasn't noticeably behind the slug. At 200 yards the sound would arrive noticably late, although not by much.

A good hunting rifle or target shooting rifle did this job and without doubt, probably a 10-power scope. Dude tried a head shot and didn't take into consideration the gravity drop of his slug at that distance and velocity. He has no training in ballistics.

Was that reported somewhere? Because judging by how dark the blood was, I suspect the jugular vein. Cartoid gonna be extremely oxygen rich and bright red. It's possible both were opened by the slug too.

Because YOU have training. An untrained maladroit would likely hit a person in the crowd.
No one gets that lucky with a lethal shot. I would find it hard to believe some mental defective liberal makes that shot.
