Along those lines, I wasn't sure the video of the wife at the casket was real....and I initially thought to myself, "who would video tape that?" And the answer is pretty simple....we're living through a seminal moment in history. All of this must get documented for posterity, as tragic as it is.

All my kids are in their 20's but I've been telling them since 2020 that they're living through historical times. I truly believe we had a coup in 2020....that a legitimately elected President was removed. Had there been iPhone cameras during JFK, RFK, MLK, Lincoln, Pearl Harbor, etc, we'd have the same type of recordings for historical significance.

I don't mean to go over the top, but the assassination of Charlie Kirk almost mirrors that of MLK where they silenced a prominent voice. It certainly feels that way. I was thinking JFK too but he was the President. Charlie was the "voice" of a whole generation of young people that he was herding into the movement. He was dangerous to the left. It's just tragic and I feel a huge sense of loss, not only for me, but more so for my children.....

Me too buddy. I was very lucky with my kids, not from a political/conservative standpoint, but my wife and I made them work (in a family business) when they were young. They experienced the tax deductions in their paychecks and got the shock at the amount of deductions without any write offs or dependents. They experienced rude customers and Karens and how to deal with them. They had to pay for some of their expenses but my wife and I took care of college, cars and insurance until they graduated and got jobs. I'm thankful every day, as I'm sure we all are.

Good post Creeper but I have a question for the quoted part. You're right that it's ALL of the Dems. My question is....how did this happen? Where are the Kennedy/Clinton Dems? I mean, most of my family were Dems back in the day because their platform supported or more closely aligned to the working American and my family were small business owners. They voted on policy. The Dems have gone completely left.

Now one can argue that the Republican have also gone further right but I believe this is a reaction to the Dems moving so far left. Only far right MAGA Republicans who won't break rank like Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, Liz Cheyney, etc., can stop the leftist agenda or they'll just wait us out until they're back in power again and we'll see a repeat of their power grab only this time they'll make no mistakes and solidify their hold.

Many are not going to like this but everything changed with Clinton, or at least started to change. Maybe it was the coincidence of Clinton and the internet, but the really nasty stuff began under Clinton. Republicans went after Clinton because they saw behavior that was unacceptable for that time. People forget all the scandals around the Clinton which started back in Arkansas. I think the fact we would elect such a corrupt unscrupulous family created a lot of outrage from decent people. The media developed a love for Hillary, who I think was far more corrupt than Bill, and they began this march towards total bias.

It only escalated under Bush, then Obama made it really nasty. His group of people all had chips on their shoulders and made everything about race. Of course the media loved him and fawned over him and get really nasty too. People don't realize what a dirty politicians Obama actually was. For his senate primary he got his opponent's divorce records unsealed then use accusations by the disgruntled wife to smear his opponent.
Today, I think the media is 75% responsible for the division in America. They amplify all the wrong things in an attempt to sensationalize the mundane.

Is anyone shocked by this? I have been saying for a few years now the Democratic party has been hijacked by the far left which is run but the alphabet mafia. Transgenders are mentally ill individuals who will resort to violence rather than face up to their own mental illness. Democrats embrace this crap making the problem worse. It is tie we set the record straight. There are only two genders and you cannot change you gender though clothing or surgery. These people need counseling, not affirmation.
