The Kings didn't play for the Cup in 2001. Gretzky was retired by then.

I guess it was that long ago. I just looked it up. It was the 92-93 season. It doesn't feel like it was that many years ago. Man I feel old(er) now. lol

But yes it was when the Kings played (and lost) the cup when Gretzky was still there

We’re in our usual mid season funk. Every team in the Pacific that was behind us is catching up or ahead. So much for our historic start and Stevens opening up the ice. Can’t get shots, can’t score before the 3rd, only 3 defensemen worth a fuck.

We really need Carter back.

This is a really old thread and I don’t even know if you post here anymore. This was the Lucic season, 2015-16. Let down.

Me too, doubt they win it all this year but a lot better than I expected. Washington has their number but the big bads have a lot of up and coming young talent. Caveat: Dont trust Rask in the clutch.
