I really don't like Pugh. Maybe he's Marshall Yanda, I don't know, but it fit a need/value there and Dallas brought him in.

Well, offer some alternatives using NFLDS and the same scenario. That's why I did this. Like I said, I rarely post a "This is my mock" because it likely wouldn't change too much and would be so boring. Same guys over and over again with the same first rounder as 8 million other mocks.

This at least forces me to look at other guys.

Hankins. Immediate FAIL.

At 43? He'd be OK value at 43 I think.

Hankins and Short suffer from the same thing that plagues a lot of big men coming out. Questionable work ethic. However, having said that, Short actually has production where as Hankins really doesn't.

I'm not sure Hankins fits well in this scheme anyway.

Hankins strikes me as one of those fat fricks that went to a big school that ends up sliding into the third round, pulls a hammy in camp and spends the next two years struggling to make a roster.

I worry that Warford isn't even on our radar even though he screams 10 year starter.

He's not a move guy and he can't zone block all that well.

All I keep reading is that Callahan wants quicker guys that can move etc.

I'm getting pretty tired of our position coaches specificities. We're just not that talented top to bottom, well take the talent if we can identify it and you coach them up fuck face.

Especially bc our new OL coach is going to be hailed as a big time improvement, worth 2 wins by himself.

Hankins has a very high bust potential IMO.

Pugh would worry me, although people that are far better than me at scouting players like him and thinks he can play immediately.

Hankins is gonna bust IMO. Pugh worries me some. You are right though, a lot of other good picks there.

Agreed. Find good players, adapt your scheme. Or realize the strengths of what you do have and adapt accordingly

That is the difference between average and good coaches. Squeezing all you can from a roster and putting your players in a position to succeed

I like quite a few players, but my biggst issue is Watson. He is not the RT we need. Pass.
