Of course, I could have easily titled this thread Washington's mess vs. Dallas's mess, though Dallas's shitshow would have been just as appropriate. Wow. The new and improved defense we thought we had looked anything but Sunday night. Dart, Skattebo and company ran roughshod, giving the rest of the league a scary blueprint to work with. Running back screens to the left are going to be in my dreams...
The offense wasn't any better. Our line isn't anywhere close to Cowboys standard, and about as deep as dirt on a basketball court. Many are saying the point the game went downhill was Dak's bone head interception right before the half. I can't argue, because I've seen it many times before.
The best thing this team has going for it? Washington isn't any better. The best thing Jayden Daniels did on Sunday was get pissed on Stefon Diggs in the post-game for his bone head penalty that cost them a chance to tie the game; the same Diggs who was probably their best ( and only interesting) player on the field.
I think this game is going to be ugly. Aggravating. One of those Sundays where we're going to be thoroughly disgusted by the state of this team despite a win. Our crappy team 23, their crappy team 17.
