That said, it's true.

We've really gotten nothing out of anyone other than 4 and 88. Javonte has 71 total yards rushing in two games. Lamb is the only receiver or TE with more than 68 yards receiving. (Lamb has 197 yds and 3 tds)

Yet we've scored 7 tds and kicked 3 FG's despite hardly having the football.

I feel safe to say the run game will improve once Tyler Smith returns. Guyton has graded out exceptionally well so far (esp in the run game) and we know Booker and Beebe are good players. Teams are also doing some creative stuff to limit George Pickens' involvement and the more they do that the more chances there will be for others to produce.

It may sound simple but I'd rather they fully load the box with as many as 8. Just take their chances with downfield over the top throws. Light boxes ain't stopping Lamar and Henry.

Dart and Skattebo along with Daniels and company before Daniels got hurt totally exploited this putrid run defense.

I see that happening again if they don't clog in as many bodies as possible.

Totally agree with your take. Maybe add one thing. Move Downs back to safety and that will help with any over the top crap. I know he is good near the line of scrimmage but in your plan I think he would be the guy to help protect tje top of the defense . You know a heavy dose of the run by Lamar and Henry is coming.
