There's actually a drop that doesn't "count" towards this equation, it was the first Pickens drop that would have been an easy 3rd down conversion. Now the catch ultimately wouldn't have counted because we had a dumbass procedure penalty on us, but we had to punt instead of getting to redo the 3rd and 4 play (Giants would have accepted the 5 yd penalty and we'd have gotten 3rd and 9).

Anyway, this is similar to last year's season opener. Too many dropped balls.

There's also no context around when it exactly happened (the play or time of game), I think the assumption many have is it is about the Giants TD where it appeared Barham half assed his effort before the Singletary ran into the endzone with a catch. I don't think he could have prevented the TD, but the effort was not good regardless.
