2026 NFL Preseason Thread

Nice offensive drive just had their first WTF play of preseason. 12 yard loss on a run play because Abinikanda fumbled the pitch.

Nate Thomas cost Joe Milton another bomb TD, rookie Anthony Smith had several steps on his guy but Thomas got whipped and Milton arm got hit enough to cause ball to be short.

They should just cut Nate Thomas before halftime.

Cost us a TD with a terrible pass block set, then cost us a 1st down on 2nd and 22 because he held.

Rookie Camden Brown has been spectacular all camp and preseason but had a bad drop on this drive.

Aubrey nails 51 yd FG like its nothing.

Joe Milton has looked really good again though. Not his fault we havent scored TDs. Other players fucking up left and right tonight.

First time we have seen the new "replay assist" on a penalty situation this preseason.

They reverse a late hit out of bounds call on 3rd down, Cowboys get off the field.

DT Tommy Dunn with a nice TFL on run play on drive.

Nice play by the UDFA, has had a nice camp and preseason.

Poor 1st drive by Dallas defense. Aints ripped off big gains on their first 4 or 5 plays.

Stiffened in redzone after illegal formation call wiped out a 3rd and 1 sneak.

Helen Keller Moore shooting his wad. They won't do shit going forward.

Milton with 1st bad throw of preseason, overthrowing newcomer TE who would have had a 30-40 yd gain down the middle.

Also missed a play on 3rd down. Aubrey tries from 57, misses.

Looks like the 2024/2025 Cowboys defense back tonight.

These 3rd teamers and some of the bubble guys have been awful tonight.

He has a putrid 1st half.

So has Caelen Carson and Nate Thomas.

Only good play on that last drive.

Sack forces them into 2nd and 18, and they easily convert for a first down to keep drive going.

Another bad series by the backup OT's. They literally dont have a guy behind Guyton and Steele that can play a lick. (and Steele cant play much himself)

Nate Thomas gave up two more pressures, Drew Shelton with an awful holding call.

UDFA TE Trigg with a bad drop on 3rd down.

Aubrey nails 58 yd FG right down middle.

17-9 Aints at the half.

Sloppy 1st half on offense. Penalties, missed blocks and two or three bad drops.

Defense other than a couple plays or so was putrid.

Sam Williams, Nate Thomas, Michael Trigg and Calen Carson all probably sealed their fates in the 1st half. Trigg should make the PS, the others should be elsewhere.

It's been pretty obvious for several weeks, but OT 3 and CB 4 have to be priority moves for them in the coming days.

Milton 1st half. 8/15, 92 yds. No tds or picks.

Had at least 3 perfectly thrown balls dropped.

Did badly miss the TE down the seam for what would have been a 30-40 yd gain.

Blocking for him was also not very good.

Defense continues the mass suckness from the 1st half. Offers zero resistance to Saints on long TD drive.

1st series for us on offense was no better.

Nate Thomas benched on opening series.

Third teamers look unmotivated and tired. They know what’s coming on Monday or sooner. Unimpressed with Sam Williams . We are in trouble on our offensive line if we lose anyone. We do not have quality depth. They will get Dak killed if they come into the game. We have got to find a legitimate swing tackle fast.
