He'd been behind Milton most of camp it appears, although some observers said they thought he looked better v the Rams than Milton did.
I expected him (Howell) to easily win the #2 job but it looks like it's going to be a real competition. On some of the clips we've seen from camp Milton appears to have learned how to throw a bit better with touch than what we saw last yr.
Ultimately I think Howell will win the job and I don't think they'll keep 3 on the active roster. If Milton doesnt make the 53 they might try to keep him on the PS.

I dont usually like the league/refs intervening to take fun or players being happy about big plays out of the game, but the ridiculous thing where a guy can recover a fumble (on the ground) at midfield and then the whole team runs down into the endzone for some ridiculous photo opp needs to go away. (like the Bears just did)

I liked Fields in college. Good size, good hands; if he can figure out how to get separation he could be good.
