Broaddus doesn't think we'll take Bain. Although he seems wrong far more than he is right.

Seems some still focus on the short arms, but I think it might be more to do with is he really a guy who can be a stand-up, move around and occasionally drop in space "edge" guy, or is he more of a pure 4-3 base DE that will move inside on some nickel downs? If it's the latter, then they probably would pass on him. I think he's probably the best true DE in this class but he might not be the best edge guy.

Definitely a huge day for CJ Allen, who some have bumped down to mid 2nd rd area now.

We still dn't have the complete list of top-30 visits, I think we know 18 or 19 of the 30 so far. Hopefully we see the others.

We will start with the consensus #1 player in the draft. The one I know icup and Dodger were most interested in learning more about.

Jeremiah Love, #1 RB, Brugler's #2 overall player.

STRENGTHS ● Explosive athlete who can burst through holes and excel on the perimeter ● One of just four running backs weighing at least 212 pounds to run a 4.36 40-yard dash or faster over the last 20 years ● Electric feet to cut laterally, adjust his path and escape grasp of defenders (4.5 yards after contact per attempt, third best in FBS in 2025) ● Uses signature hurdle in open field — he wasn’t allowed to hurdle in high school, so he’s making up for lost time ● Stays on his feet through contact and has unique ability to catch his balance (see his remarkable touchdown run vs. Penn State in 2024) ● Showed improved run patience in 2025, allowing combination blocks to do their thing ● Accelerates into contact and routinely falls forward ● Battles on every run and grinds out more tough yards than are to be expected ● Shows body control at top of routes and when adjusting to the football as a pass catcher ● Can run seams or go routes; runs away from linebackers on screens and angle routes ● Doesn’t lack for physicality as a blocker, either in pass protection or as a lead blocker Outstanding touchdown production (first Notre Dame player in more than 30 years with multiple rushing and receiving touchdowns in the same game) ● Quiet, introverted personality; very particular about his surroundings (required his own room when he enrolled as a freshman) ● Takes care of the football — fumbled just once (zero lost fumbles) in three years with the Irish

WEAKNESSES ● Goes big-game hunting at times and bypasses developing lanes to try to get outside ● Hard-charging runner and smashes the accelerator, but could use a dash more tempo ● Can do a better job setting up second- and third-level moves ● Bad habit of jump-skipping when catching passes ● Bodies up defenders in pass protection, but recognizing blitzes has been a work in progress ● Suffered sprained meniscus in right knee (Nov. 2024), which limited his volume in the College Football Playoff

SUMMARY A two-year starter at Notre Dame, Love became the featured weapon in offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock’s scheme and in 2025 helped the Irish average 40-plus points per game for the first time in 113 years. He averaged 6.9 yards per carry in both 2024 and 2025 and combined for an FBS-best 40 total touchdowns over the past two seasons (eight more than No. 2 on the list). He became the first Notre Dame player to win the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s top running back. With his easy acceleration, Love can excel on perimeter runs or when given a runway to create big plays (49 plays of 10-plus yards ranked third most in the FBS in 2025). He has a compact, linear build and plays with the physicality and run strength to stay on his feet through contact. He also has the short-area cutting skills to sidestep defenders without downshifting his speed. His tendency to freelance can backfire at times, but he did a better job on his junior tape following blocks downhill and staying north-south (his first downs increased and the home runs were still there). Overall, Love is an explosive athlete with a remarkable blend of balance and burst to be dynamic as both a runner and in the passing game. He is one of the most talented players in the 2026 draft class and projects as a high-upside NFL weapon.
