I understand that I am being very optimistic. I get it. But, looking at the Eagles schedule, I think there is a chance they could lose 3 more. Again, maybe. But it's possible they could lose to the Bears, Chargers, and Bills.

With even more luck, maybe they drop one against the Commanders, which would give them 4 more losses. Losing 3 would put them at 12-6.

Obviously, Dallas needs to win every game. I know, I know, not likely, but unlike last year when I wanted to tank, at least this year we have our starting QB (no QB means no hope). That would put Dallas at 12-5-1.

How does that tie against Green Bay affect Dallas? Would the tie put us ahead of the Eagles at 12-6 or behind them? I think ahead because it's not technically a loss.

By the time anyone reads this post it might all be moot because we might have lost to the Chiefs. I get it.

And please, Dallas. Please do not get a penalty getting after Mahomes. No QB in the NFL is better at playing the refs.

You guys get mad at the Tush Push. I get mad at the BULLSHIT the NFL lets Mahomes get away with.

you got an extra game in there amigo, there's only 17 regular season games and the best Dalls can finish is 11-5-1

Well here we are again about to start our next playoff game. Shoddy and Eberflus better have gotten all their crappy coaching out of their systems against Philly otherwise we will be cooked early. This game will be Andy Reid / Spags vs Shoddy/ Eberflus . I know I know they don’t play the game, but this will get down to strategy / effort and quality coaching. We have the players but no so much coaching. I will be skeptical until this team starts running off a long winning streak and shows consistency. I would like to see this team start strong today, take control of the line of scrimmage, eliminate stupid penalties and pound the football. Take control of time of possession and score early and often. On defense Eberflus better spy Mahomes and send a fifth mystery rusher on every passing down. Mahomes will cut us up like soft butter if Eberflus plays his stupid soft zone scheme. On defense we should be man press with safety over the top. We should be physical with all receivers off the line of scrimmage . No free get offs. I would put my best defender on Kelce and not give him an inch. Fast aggressive defense will be key. If we fall behind like we did last week there won’t be any coming back. Spags will tee off and ram his defense down our throat. We will know in the first five minutes of this game how it’s going to go. Unfortunately because of early losses we have no margin. Every game is a must win if we are to stand any chance of getting to the playoffs. I oray the Cowboys play hard and win this ball game so I can keep my turkey down!

You get an A for effort Amigo and I am sure clown Goodell loves your 18 game season philosophy, but we aint there yet.

But if Philly loses 3 more games and finishes 11-6, if we win out we'd be 11-5-1 and we would win the division.

I don't think they'll be as good as they've been the last couple of weeks, but torched might be a bit much...

We elevated Corey Ballentine from the PS. Why? Anyone know?

He's a journeyman. He's played for 4 teams just in 2025 (Colts, Packers, Pats, and Cowboys).

I can see it happening. But he needs to look at it from the other side too. Dallas also has the ability to run, dink and dunk, go on long drives, etc.

They've got that monster in Chris Jones, but we have a couple of our own now in Clark and Williams. And Osa can be disruptive now that he isn't in there as much.

I think it's hard for people to wrap their heads around the idea that the recent infusion of Williams, Clark, Logan Wilson, Overshown, Revel, Carson, Hooker, Donavan Wilson all add up to a completely different defense.

Dallas' defense hasn't improved because scrubs are playing better (there might be some of that). They've improved because they have better players. I haven't given up on Trevon Diggs. I think he'll add a spark too and allow for some versatility.

Oh, and I really don't know how good Perrion Winfrey is, but he has also been added. How many is that since only 3 games ago?

Problem is teams like the Lions are adding reinforcements too (like they just added back Frank Ragnow off the retired list and activated Marcus Davenport), but this is not the same defense getting better. It's a DIFFERENT defense..

So what’s the over/under on CeeDee dropped passes for this game?

3??
The good news is that it's not a physical thing. It's a lack of focus because he's thinking about what he is going to do next, like wave bye to the fans or make a move.

The bad news is that some players never learn. He went through this before and you'd think he would have learned already. So it could be one of those things that coaches need to constantly remind him of. But that isn't something coaches should need to worry about. It's basic.

Probably because Caelen Carson isn't going to play.
Possibly as insurance, yeah. Carson seems listed as questionable. Not good to have such a journeyman in the game. I hope he doesn't need to play..

I did a little digging and it seems that he hasn't been terrible when he has had to play. A couple of times it was due to injury. Still, I hope he doesn't need to see the field.
