As I watch Democrats try to spin this shut down as Trump's fault, and spin the Letisha James indictment as a political prosecution, it seems to me they are losing the information war. The reality is, and this might not be the greatest thing for the country, the corporate media no longer has the influence it once had. They can't swindle the country like they used to because social media is an alternative information platform countering the left wing propaganda from CNN and MSNBC, et al.
So while Democrats blame Trump for the shutdown, ordinary Americans are countering the social media posts with meme and graphics showing how Republicans have voted to pass a clean bill 8 or 9 times to open the government again.
And while the try to claim Letisha James did nothing wrong, citizens are posting her own words, and those of many other Democrats saying no one is about the law, and mortgage fraud hurts everyone.
It is something to watch these people stubbornly cling to their spin despite losing ground with each passing day. You would think they would find a way out of this quickly before it takes them down a month before an election, but instead they cannot help themselves. It is another symptom of TDS.
